"All rational thought ended for me at 8 AM on January 12th 2006 when the nurse couldn’t find my baby’s heartbeat even though it was my due date, my water had broken and I was obviously in active labor. On that day from that moment on I was griped by fear and in a state of shock. I wasn’t actually thinking, I was just being swept along by the actions of the hospital staff as they put in IV’s, told me what would happen next and asked me if I knew of a funeral home I wanted to use."
